International Projects
Bath Rotary became involved in this project in 2010 when Father Peter Anglaare brought to the club’s attention the needs of the people of Ko including basic sanitation, running water, and electricity. The Bath Rotary Club has teamed with the Rotary International Foundation, the Rotary Club of Bolgatanga in Ghana, other Rotary Clubs of District 7120 including Corning, Ontario-Walworth, and Wayland, as well as individual donors to make a significant difference in the health and economic well-being of the people of Ko. The current phase of the project involves digging a well to improve access to clean water. For more information, download the documents below.
Bath Rotary has also donated to International Projects sponsored by other clubs:
New well dug in Sepetimpom, Ghana, 2024
- A project in support of a school in Haiti to provide a battery system that will hold the solar-generated power from the school’s solar panels for a period of two – three days sponsored by the Canandaigua Rotary Club in May of 2020.
